Do you ever look around and wonder how we know whether a politician is a Republican? I do. I find that it's rather hard to tell. Usually, I have to go check out with which party they state they are affiliated. . .since it is virtually impossible to tell otherwise.
Here's my question -- what happened to the idea of a limited federal government, state rights, fiscal conservatism (and that does not include massive pork bellying) and overall responsibility to one's constituency. For that matter, what happened to individual responsibility?
Think about how awesome life would be if individuals took responsibility for their decisions and actions (or lack thereof) and we all lived by the concept of fiscal conservatism. Now that would be nirvana (or utopia). . .and probably only a dream about which I can fantasize.
So, tell me what characteristics your Republican party would have.
